The GR World Cup Block Party is three days of street soccer, culture, music, and community at Las Canchas in Grand Rapids. This isn’t just a tournament — it’s a full celebration of what Grand Rapids has built. A front porch for the whole city to gather, compete, and feel the energy of the World Cup right here in the neighborhood.
Brought to you by AC Grand Rapids, Downtown Grand Rapids INC, and The Soccer Rebellion, three organizations committed to making Grand Rapids a soccer city. We’re creating an atmosphere that’s better than being at the game.

• Official Meijer Michigan State Games Youth Street Soccer Tournament
• World Cup Watch Party on a Jumbotron outside at Las Canchas
• Michigan’s illest street soccer league — the Bridge Street League
• DJ, live hip hop performances, Modelos, street artists, barbers, and local vendors
• 300+ players from across West Michigan
Free and open to the public.
9:00 AM — Youth Tournament Kicks Off
Street soccer gets underway at Las Canchas. Group stage games begin across all courts.
2:00 PM — Tournament Games Pause
Group stage play wraps for the day. Time to gather.
2:00 PM — USA vs. Australia | World Cup Watch Party Begins
The Jumbotron fires up OUTSIDE at Las Canchas. Pull up, find your spot, and watch the US Men’s National Team live on the big screen — right here in the neighborhood. This is Grand Rapids’ front porch. The whole city is invited.
Following USA vs. Australia — Bridge Street League Kicks Off
Michigan’s illest street soccer league takes over the courts immediately after the match. The Bridge Street League — 300 players from across West Michigan ball out in one of the most electric atmospheres this city has ever seen.
